joel's farewell was awesome! games were v well-planned since only had two days or so to plan/prepare! thank you everyone! as usual affirmation/praying was the best part next to cooking! :) ohhhh and i'm super impressed w the food hahaha! esp mashed potatoes :) zixuan and kellie's mad mashing skills, joel's zai chopping skills, glad's uber minced garlic, and jolyn's baked eggs!

caught up w zt today in sch aft collecting testimonial :D but didn't take pics omg :( ate club sandwich too, was awesome. gosh she'd better be immune to my cough, else i'll be the culprit :(

whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. gahh. i caught a flu, fever and throat infection! it's been almost a week and i'm on the way to recovery now but the feeling just sucks. feeling waaaaay pessimistic now, aft all i've missed service and lg in a row.

i can't even enter an air-con room, else my throat gets all uncomfortable and i'll start tearing. wonder what the heck's wrong. self-medicated but might be going to the doc's later cos i ran out of med :(

so it's been tv, comp, sleep, reading the Bible/daily bread, popping med, trying to laugh w/o hurting my throat, suppressing my voice etc. nothing interesting. i keep getting emotional for no apparent reason these days. mad case of moodswings. okay really needa learn to grow grow grow spiritually and stop being so selfish and jealous and lazy and holding everyth back. :( this week i discovered a lot of my flaws and realised i'm damn unsatisfactory. haven't made God smile today, nor this whole week. :( need to stop sinning.

on a sidenote, found shows worth watching. i'm having an obsession w cooking shows/competitions these days. haha. Happy Lunchbox and Yes Chef. :D shall watch the rest online if i'm still sick tmr.

okay GG MAN. i'm officially sick. been having cramps since i dunno when! and this morn when i just woke up i was down w non-stop sneezing and thought i had fever. argh. and i just had indigestion i hope none of this will continue :(


so the events i've missed: final night of church camp, 2 whole days of chalet :(((((
tmr gonna miss last half a day too for submission of applications. :( just hope i'll make it for the other outings (eating & photospree & haircut), and txy camp :(


omg this sucks big time. haveta build up immune system! but now i have no appetite at all. ah well hope church camp was boomz still :D and hope peeps are having a great time at chalet! :) boohooo self pity starts now

one fine day bens aka benz and bens which is also aka benz and bens and it goes on forever (okay i'm not making sense) were trying to pronounce names with initials swapped. like zenjamin bhang and senjamin bin. then tenn zan (like ten of zenn?!) and xing miang, chamuel sang! LOL should be chamuel sings all the time -.-

and we talked to ziyu on loudspeaker + it was connected to the PA thingy so we could all hear very clearly and shout to him! wahaha cool sia. actually i couldn't get what he was talking but nvm lol.

we dissected drosophila larvae ytd zomg can't believe i forgot to blog about electives. yeah the full name of fruit flies is, drosophila melanogaster! yay i rmbed :D urgh we tried 3 times and dissected 3 poor larvae omg i dissect until i wanna cry lah. poor things :'( omg sorry audrey for screwing up and losing the salivary glands. ): in the end didn't even find them lah. wth i really feel damn bad. i think i'll reincarnate into a fruit fly larvae ):


btw we had only one fruit fly left. 2 of them eloped through the container (yeah we put one male and one female in it) dunno if they mated anot. i was telling wenyi maybe they found someplace where the grass was greener and the moon was rounder to mate -.- in the other container one fly was dead ): poor female who has no mate now.


yeah and today i'm sick. had terrible stomach cramps in the morning. gahh. now it's coming back. x(


i keep wanting to blog about level camp and the stuff i learnt. but i guess the things i have to rmb will all be on paper, and the lessons i learnt will all be in my heart. not a lazy excuse okay!


the songs we sang, the tears we cried, the cheers we cheered, and the laughters we had, it'll forever be etched in my memories. the funny concentration game, the chalet, the secret gatherings we had in the chalets, the indescribable feeling we had when the flames died down after the campfire, our campfire item and how great it sounded when we rehearsed it for the first time, fraddy's big nose, and wyna and xinyi's funny shadow play... too much memories to hold on to. like mr koh said on campfire night, take a picture of this scene, and you'll bring it with you forever. i can still rmb very clearly the picture which i took.


谁也不能永远陪谁, this is the cruel truth. but what matters is that we all have bonded over 5 days. these 5 days were long enough to share weal and woe with our classmates, talk and laugh with people i rarely talked with, and have fun with the whole class. i even felt the warmth of the 4I and J bond on campfire night when we took turns cheering our class cheers (we cheered theirs and they cheered ours) and when they said our class tee was very nice :D

shall not dwell anymore on exams. it's over, and nothing more can be done.

anyway, today was a crazy day. haha. after flagraising there was this talk by mr sng on a guy fm china. he got some sickness and got into hospital. real poor thing lah, so the most i can do is donate some money. then there's this gastric flu disease spreading around schools. wah i was so scared cos these few days kept feeling something wrong with my stomach and vommitting etc. think it's the mooncake i ate? aha dunno.

then everyone was cheering once we were dismissed. and we went to this talk about post-exam trip to picturehouse. yeah, a total waste of time, i should say. was starving and feeling abit anorexic and shivering slightly at the same time.

then we slacked awhile before heading for 158 bus stop. was crappy on the bus lah. reached aljunied and met th + eli! haha we were looking for holiday job in jurong! then heading for jurong point + chinese garden, then back to school again! :D you should have expected the above sentences to be jokes. and i can tell you, they are.

we reached bugis lah. lunch at kfc, blah. stomach's getting worse. lol zt suggested to wash hands! like wtf -.- we did anyway. for the fun of it. nice to be guai for once. couldn't finish my cheese fries! and coke. actually i didn't finish anything at all -.- typical, though.

yeah then we went crazy. went to look for movies, but nothing much to watch. so we walked around looking for nice earrings. haha van looks nice with dangling ones! and zy looks nice with round earrings. wanna pierce my ears! soon, i think.

then walked around bugis. haha we walked around the shops 4times? going round and round. haha action city! mikan bouya! er zt kept asking me what i like -.- but her birthday's gonna come earlier than me! :D then i saw a CHERRY NECKLACE! OMG SO DAMN NICE CAN. it's cute and round and dangling! i'm addicted to it. should have bought it if not for the hole in my wallet. literally and technically, as van claims it. -.-

NEOPRINTS! lol had a hard time looking for one machine. some damned person went to snatch the machine that we wanted lor! :@ haha then we went playing in one of the machines. so fun! with sk and zy. haha the sumo wrestler + dustbin + ribbons! :D

lol we put in the coins then realised we haven't planned the poses! :D but we still did some nice ones. lack of ideas :D decorating was like racing against time as usual. should have chosen the unlimited time machine lor. haha after that van and sk went to take another time. -.- reminds me of those couples :D i like the snowman one!

haha then went through a couple of bimbo shops, as zt claims it to be. think it's newly-renovated; didn't see it the last time i went there. well, alot of the same stuff lah. bangles, bracelets, belts, clothes. and we saw VAN'S brand of shoes! they stuck alot of the 'vans' tag on the shelf. lol -.-

van had to leave for her piano lessons ): we let sk bring her to mrt station :D then waited at the fountain. haha mean right. but serious, think sk and van make a perfect couple. they look so cute together! :D someone asked us where's 'mi tuo lu'. then it turned out to be 'middle road'. wtf. i thought it was some kind of restaurant/delicacy. but we didn't know where it was anyway.

walked to bras basah. dunno for what, actually. just to kill time, i suppose. then saw the 'middle road' roadsign. -.- haha went popular and did something to the hand. lol in the middle of popular in middle road in the middle of spore! -.- went round browsing stuff lah. then i sudd felt really terrible with all the pains in my stomach and dizzyness and whatnot. so we went cafe and bought a sandwich. and exchanged jokes. :D and arranged neoprints. and crapped a lot.
