kay so today was the dhs kaleidoscope aka arts festival. i thought it would be boring but ended up quite nice! (: haha great job all the performers + contributors! (:

we assembled in the parade sq then everyone squeezed onto the grandstand. walao the yr 5s jeered at us for not cheering. like hello? what art is there in cheering? they're just making use of us to prac for cheering comp. lol.

anyway. they start kallang wave as & when they like, then we can't catch up/ didnt bother to. haha but kinda fun lah. wonder where they get their enthu from.

had drumming (damn seh), wushu (omg so worried for them cos track was slippery), cs dance (love the rainbows!), senior high 'hiphop' (not really hiphop lah), not to mention the speeches. i think the guest of honour's speech damn seh! like spoken by member of parliament. as what xh said, it kind of doesn't fit the situation, cos there aren't any reporters with big flashing DSLRs. but his speech is really 10mins long that kind -.-

omg i really regretted to forget to bring my darling cam! ARGHHHHH COULD HAVE TAKEN SO MANY NICE NICE NICE PHOTOS LIKE THE RAINBOW + CONFETTI + PERFORMANCES )': rawrhhh. i shall not be so stupid again.

after that we went 1a + 1b for chinese tea appreciation. then break i think. we ate indian food! curry puff + vadeh + bryani + mutton + roti prata! omg i think i spent $2.80 on that lol cos we shared. & we ate on the floor lol!

hall performance was great! i loved all of them though the malay person singing was quite boring -.- OMG LAH. this is the part where i feel like killing myself cos the person sang so well omg still got duo singing argh i should've brought cam! hope our cls got someone take but aiyah who so boliao like me? ): got indian music, senior high cs, hiphop, bhangra dance, singing, eds, external CO, malay singing.

shall comment on some:
indian music: they played mo li hua with the instruments! sehkias (: + one of them sounds like elec guitar O:
senior high cs: music really blasted our ears. but is nice lah haha!
hiphop: okay this is so much better than at the grandstand there. good job!
bhangra dance (finale): omg lah really the dangerous! they just swung onto each other's body! O: + the guys go hook their legs onto another guy's neck! more like acrobat bhangra can! haha but they were the most popular heh.
singing: yeah i said alr, the girl overpower the guy and sang louder, omg her piano skills are like O.O + i like how they fuse the 2 chi songs tgt! nv hear before the first song lah.
eds: haha so cute the question marks. + benz was funny can! conductor out of control LOL.

aft that was boring, just hung arnd in sch to watch xh+xl use laptops. was half chionging bp lah.

aft doing the indian rice thingy (shit forgot the name) we hung arnd in 1G doing bp. sian lah in the end didnt hand in. -.- got home at 6+.
